The Alaska Large Shop, like the Alaska Small Shop, is a versatile Alaska Structures (AKS) building that can be used for many applications including fabrication, production, machining, welding, repair, manufacturing, minerals processing plants, concrete batch plants and construction. AKS provided large shops and warehouse solutions at nearly every pump station along the Alyeska Pipeline and many more on Alaska's North Slope.

AKS fabric buildings have become state-of-the-art in the construction, storage, and warehousing industry today, replacing traditional construction materials such as wood or metal because of the versatility, durability and safety that fabric offers.

The Alaska Large Shop requires minimal equipment for set up and is maintenance free. Our structures have minimal foundation requirements are are highly portable and transportable for remote job sites or can be installed as permanent buildings. AKS structures are more economical to heat and cool than conventional construction buildings.
