Alaska Structures (AKS) team members' experiences and backgrounds vary greatly giving AKS a unique advantage over other building companies. We are an energetic and goal-oriented team determined to maintain and further our stance as the world's leader in fabric shelter systems®.
For over 30 years, AKS has practiced a strategic support plan designed to offer our customers the greatest value in our products and our services. This plan has incorporated a diversity of experience by drawing many of our top technical support team from the industries we serve. We have hired this team from multiple industries including construction, mining, oil and gas, medical, emergency response, logistics, government and military. We recruit the most qualified and knowledgeable people in their fields so that our professional and technical team includes those with PhD's and team members with 40 years experience in these industries.
This expert team is here to serve our customers. We can meet with you at the office nearest to you or we are ready and willing to come to your office or your site. We will assist you with site analysis, foundation requirements, specifications and design. Our field installation team is next to none, including AKS project supervision with more than 20 years experience in the most extreme environments on Earth.
We strongly believe as well, that happy and healthy employees will offer the best, most positive and timely support to our customers. Therefore our employees work in a strongly supportive environment. The success of this is evident in our employee's longevity. 91% of our executive and management team has been employed at AKS for over 10 years. That's more than 200% the national average and approximately 1/2 of this executive team has been with AKS for over 20 years, 400% better than the national average. And, we have had zero turn over in 9 out of 12 departments in the past three years! What company can say this in these more difficult economic times or in any economic environment?

For the past decade, approximately 25% of AKS employees have taken all these volunteer days to help those less fortunate than ourselves. This large group of employees have risked their health and sometimes even their lives to go to some of the most poverty stricken areas of the world to work 15-hour days serving them.

This provides our customers with a systemic integrity and expanded support base, which is rarely experienced in any industry.
